Kicking

The Japanese translation for the word 'Kick' is 'Geri'. Each kick is done at three differant hight levels, Gedan/lower, tudan/middle and jodan/upper, it is not untill you become a senour grade that you are expected to beable to perform kick at jodan level

Kicking requires 2 main skills, flexibility and balance, the first can be improved con streaching excersizes and balance can be gained using various balacing techniques and consistant practise. Kicking will become easyer the more adgileyou become.
