Terminology

Japanese terminology is important to learn. Lower grades are given instructions in english as well as Japanese, however once you are a senior grade you will be expected to know instructional commands and techniques in Japanese without being given the English translation.

This knowledge is taught over time, you are not expected to pick it up straight away and is a very gradual learning curve, so if you are just starting out do not be to concerned about understanding the Japanese, you will pick it up eventually and if you don't understand, ASK!
